The screw-cap centrifuge flasks are made of high-strength, semi-transparent polypropylene (PP/PPCO) material, offering excellent chemical resistance. The cap features an internal sealing ring that connects to the inner bevel of the flask neck via threads, creating a press-fit seal with superior sealing performance.

They can withstand high temperature and high pressure treatment and are reusable. During centrifugation, the sample filling volume must not be less than 80% of the total capacity.

According to industry terminology, centrifuge tubes and flasks use "nominal capacity" to indicate their volume, not their measured capacity.
